Pastoral Care at NCGTA

The welfare of all of our gymnasts is a priority for the NCGTA team

Our goal at NCGTA is to help both children and adults reach their goals in the world of gymnastics. From recreational classes for children who just enjoy the classes, learning new skills and meeting new friends, to our Squad gymnasts who train hard to go on to compete at Regional, County and National events.

The key for us making things work, is creating a safe, warm and welcoming environment.

All of our Coaches work hard to not only teach the children; but to also make them feel comfortable and let them know that they can come to them at any point. We have also just announced our new Welfare Gymnast, who is an advocate for all of our gymnasts. Charlie will be available for them to approach and talk through any concerns or worries. Please read more about her below.

For anyone looking to join a gymnastics club, you need to make sure it is right for you and your children. To help you know more about us, please see below some feedback from our gymnasts and their parents. It certainly warms our hearts to hear such great things.

What our gymnastics family say about us...

Please see below some of the recent feedback we have received from our gymnasts and their parents.

Meet Charlie our Welfare Gymnast

Please meet Charlie, one of our gymnasts at NCGTA, based in Cotswold Clubhouse. Charlie is our new WELFARE GYMNAST and is a representative from our gymnastics club. We want all of our gymnasts to know that they can come to any of our coaches if they need to talk anything through; but if they feel more comfortable, Charlie will be available to approach and talk through any concerns or worries. She will be their voice and help them find the reassurance they need.

Here are some fun facts about Charlie:

My hobbies are gymnastics, reading, cooking and baking.

I like all aspects of gymnastics. I like the challenge of learning new things and enjoy the connection I have between my gym friends.

My future goals are to overcome my fears and be a lot more confident when learning new skills.

I don’t have a favourite movie at the moment; but my favourite TV series is Friends.

“She’s so lovely” by Scouting for Girls

This one is easy…100% cheese!

I’m a good listener and will do my best to help with any situation. I’m very patient and I love to help and support people.

To all parents, guardians and gymnasts, NCGTA is a family and we will always do what we can to make you feel comfortable when you are in our gymnasium. However, if ever there is a concern, query, or issue, please always make sure you reach out to us. Caroline is our Owner and Welfare Officer, Georgia is our Head Coach and all of our coaches are on hand. And to the children, if you would prefer, Charlie is your Welfare Gymnast, if you would prefer to talk with her.

Please never hold anything in. You can talk to us in person, call Caroline on 07793 949198 or email us via
